You Bring Their World, We Bring the Care

Exotic pets stay calmest in their own setup. The owner-provided model is what keeps stress low and routine intact.

You Bring the Enclosure

The cage, terrarium, tank, or carrier your pet lives in. We position it in a climate-controlled space and keep their world consistent.

2

You Bring the Food

Live insects, frozen pinkies, fresh produce, pellets, prescription formulas, or home-cooked meals. We follow your written instructions.

3

We Prep + Serve

Our fully equipped kitchen at Main Street lets us chop greens, thaw protein, and follow strict feeding schedules.

4

Daily Wellness Checks

Habitat conditions verified, water freshened, food served per your instructions. Behavior changes noted and reported.

Lily's Boards More Than Exotics

Why Lily's

Experience With the Unusual

Run by Pet People, Not Just Kennel Staff

Amy Klein opened Lily's Play-N-Stay at 511 Main St. in Belton on July 1, 2021 with a simple idea: every pet deserves quality care, and "every pet" means every pet. Exotics have been part of the model from early on.

Habitat-First Approach

Stress is the biggest health risk for exotic pets during a stay. We solve for it by keeping your pet in their own enclosure with their own food, in a climate-controlled space. Less change for them. Less worry for you.

Built for the Pet Parent, Not the Audit

A higher standard of cleanliness, a 24/7 alarm + security system, climate control critical for reptiles and birds, owner-provided food and medications administered by trained staff, daily wellness checks with a written log. (USDA-inspected and Belton fire-code compliant, of course.)

Stays That Give Back

3% of every program at Lily's is donated to Lily's Rescue Rehab, our 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Your exotic pet's stay helps a rescue dog find their family. Learn more →
