We are seeking an energetic and passionate Pet Care Lead to join our dynamic team at our Main Street campus. In this vital role, you will oversee daily pet care operations, ensuring a safe, loving, and enriching environment for the animals in our care.

Your leadership will inspire a team of pet care professionals, promote exceptional customer service, and uphold the highest standards of animal welfare. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on pets and their owners while working in a lively, supportive environment.

This position does include weekends and holidays.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and motivate a team of pet care associates to deliver outstanding animal care.
  • Oversee daily activities, including group play sessions and animal handling procedures.
  • Ensure proper animal care techniques are used to maintain safety for pets and staff.
  • Coordinate pet services, ensuring each animal's individual needs are met with compassion and professionalism.
  • Supervise kennel operations, including cleaning, feeding, administering medications, and maintaining records, with a small team beside you (1 to 3 people).
  • Conduct regular training on animal handling, pet care protocols, and customer interactions to uphold quality standards.
  • Manage heavy lifting tasks related to supplies or equipment while maintaining safety guidelines.

What We're Looking For

  • A natural leader who can motivate and coach a small team day in, day out.
  • Comfortable and confident working around dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
  • Weekend and holiday availability.
  • Able to handle a physically active role, including heavy lifting, while following safety guidelines.
